I decided to adopt a crested gecko a few years back, while I expected him to be a fun pet I did not anticipate how much personality he would have. Like a cat or a dog he is aware of his food times and will wait or jump on the glass when I come near his enclosure around that time. He also recognizes his owner and is very comfortable being handled by me and will even sit on my shoulder while I clean his enclosure. He also jumps around his tank when I walk past at night, a lot of the time onto the glass to greet me. Despite him being a reptile he has become rather attached to me as his owner.
